Olive Green

Poncho Sweater: Forever 21 | Striped Tee: J.Crew (similar here) | Boots: Blondo Danny Over The Knee Boot via Nordstrom | Pants: J.Crew | Sunnies: Karen Walker | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff | Necklace: Julie Vos |

Over the holiday weekend, I spent the majority of my time in cozy sweaters. The weather was not as chilly in Connecticut, so I was able to get away with wearing layers rather than a thick winter coat. Since purchasing this sweater a few weeks ago, I have worn it non-stop. I absolutely love the olive green color because it is different from anything else I own. In addition, I can't say enough about these black boots. Last week, I got stuck in a rainstorm while wearing them and they are still good as new. This afternoon, I am heading back to Chicago and am so excited for the coming weeks which will be filled with holiday party festivities with friends! xx

  3. Hi there! I found your blog bc I was googling these boots, and having trouble deciding what size to buy :)

I found that the 7.5, my usual flats size, was nice and tight and just right for leggings or cigarette jeans, but hard to take off (but doable) and made any non-super skinny jeans get pushed up on the inside when I put them on.

The 8s were a breeze to take off, but too large around the ankle and lower calf which made the bottom of the boot bunch up.

Did you have any similar problems? Have these stretched out with time? Thanks a lot! <3

    1. Hi, thank you so much for visiting me blog! :)

I went with my regular size for these particular boots. They are a bit loose around my calf, but I love that they can be worn throughout Winter in the rain/ snow. They haven't stretched out too much and I plan to wear them again this year! I generally only wear them with leggings, tights or my skinny jeans. Although they do not fit as tightly around the leg as I would like, they are a great alternative to chunkier Winter boots. Hope this helps! xx, Alexa
