5 Good Things


Returning with a little post on 5 things that are making me happy, with the hopes that it will bring some joy to you also! It is always helpful to take a step back and truly appreciate those things that make you smile; no matter how big or small they might be.

1. While in Martha's Vineyard we attended a restorative yoga class one morning at The Yoga Barn. It was such a refreshing changeup from the more intensive hot yoga and spin classes I take in New York City. I am now eager to find a spot in Manhattan!

2. A focus on self-care has definitely taken a front seat lately. Ursa Major is a brand that has found more and more shelf space in my bathroom lately. I love the natural ingredients and it keeps my skin feeling clean, consistent and fresh. If you haven't' tried it yet, I recommend starting out with their vitamin C serum or face wash

3. I was able to spend two full weeks in a row with loved ones this month and it made everything feel right in the world again. 

4. The house in the above photo, is practically a dream! I took this photo while in Martha's Vineyard and simply fell in love with all of it's details. From the climbing roses on the fence to the little window boxes. I am always looking for new sources of inspiration. It certainly helps to stop and smell the roses - pun intended!

5. I have been doing my best to make more time for reading, as it truly helps me to unwind. A couple of the books on my nightstand right now are: Bel Canto and Where the Crawdads Sing. If you have any other suggestions, I would love to hear.
